FoSC’s Appeal of Clear Valley’s Skagit Environmental Bank Continues on Tuesday, July 14, 200, before the County Commissioners.

You may have read that the appeal of the wetland mitigation bank proposed by Clear Valley, LLC was settled with one appellant, SPF.

Please call or write the Commissioners to oppose the loss of priceless Skagit farmland!

This is a “closed record” hearing, meaning no public comments are permitted.  Plaintiffs and defendants in this appeal are prohibited from contacting Commissioners about this case in the meantime.

 Western WA Growth Management Hearings Board hearing Case No. 07-2-0025c FOSC, Evergreen Islands v. Skagit County and the City of Anacortes.

This case appeals various issues on the 2005 Comprehensive Plan update, consistency with the Growth Management Act, county policies and other issue on rural Skagit development. For more information - http://www.gmhb.wa.gov/western/index.html
